Gefran presents the new WPA-E and WRA-E linear position transducers with Hyperwave magnetostrictive technology and EtherCAT interface

The WPA-E and WRA-E linear position transducers represents an important range extension of RTE connectivity interfaces of Gefran linear sensors portfolio, implementing CAN open over EtherCAT (CoE) protocol.

EtherCAT main feature is the “on-the-fly” principle where each node reads and writes its own data into the Ethernet frame without interrupting the frame’s progress in the network, improving bandwidth utilization. 

The above-mentioned features, combined with the advantages of Gefran’s Hyperwave technology, provide high measurement performance.
