GEFRAN @SPS ITALIA 2026

From sensor to cloud: measure, analyze, and control

SPS Italia 2026 - Hall 3 – Booth F007

From the sensor to the cloud: measuring, understanding, and controlling—this is the vision guiding Gefran’s presence at SPS Italia 2026 (Parma, May 26–28, Hall 3 – Booth F007) and shaping a comprehensive offering that integrates sensors, power control, automation, and digital platforms. A suite of solutions that manages the entire data lifecycle: from the precise measurement of process variables to machine or plant control, and on to the utilization of that information to maximize operational continuity, efficiency, and production quality.

“Gefran’s deep understanding of industrial applications stems from over fifty years of experience in industrial automation working alongside leading OEMs. This journey has taught us that a machine’s efficiency depends not only on technology, but also on the ability to correctly identify and interpret the key variables of the production process,” says Marcello Perini, CEO of Gefran. “It is this distinctive application expertise that guides the development of our sensors and power controllers—designed around customers’ real needs—and drives the evolution of the Industrial IoT and Generative AI solutions integrated into the G-Mation automation platform. For Gefran, the true value of process data always stems from a deep understanding of the applications.”

G-Mation is redefining industrial control across the edge, the cloud, and artificial intelligence

At the heart of Gefran’s product portfolio is G-Mation, an automation platform designed to manage the complexity of industrial systems using an integrated and scalable approach. A key component is the G-Mation P6 PLC, a panel-mounted device that combines the capabilities of a process controller with those of an edge device.

In addition, the G-Mation platform supports two digital solutions, MAX and GAIA, designed to enable the collection, analysis, and utilization of machine data. MAX (Machine Analytics eXpert) is the Industrial IoT solution that converts machine data into actionable insights for operational and strategic decisions, improving efficiency and productivity. GAIA (Gefran AI Assistant) is a virtual assistant powered by generative AI and application-specific knowledge bases, designed to support operators, maintenance technicians, and managers in the day-to-day management of production processes.

New WRX Series: Sensors for High-Performance Applications

Gefran is showcasing its expertise in the plastics and metal industries by unveiling a preview of its new WRX magnetostrictive sensor at SPS. An evolution of its proprietary Hyperwave technology, it is designed to handle increasingly demanding operating conditions: high movement speeds that need to be monitored, the presence of shocks and vibrations, and wide operating temperature ranges in industrial environments.

Gefran expands its range of power controllers up to 900 A

The range of electric heating solutions has expanded with the introduction of the new 900-amp model in the GPC series of power controllers, now covering a complete range from 10 A to 900 A and offering a highly scalable and modular solution. Available in single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase configurations, it enables precise and stable temperature control in processes such as the heat treatment of glass and metal. This offering positions Gefran among the few companies capable of covering these power ranges: a move consistent with a strategy focused on increasingly higher currents, which strengthens its leadership in this industrial sector.

Finally, Gefran introduces the new generation of GRC power controllers, designed to deliver maximum precision, reliability, and operational continuity in the most critical industrial thermal processes. The range now includes more compact models, available in single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase versions, to flexibly adapt to any application context. A key feature of the series is the integrated Smart Load Management system, which optimizes energy consumption by reducing power spikes and helping to improve the system’s overall efficiency.

We look forward to welcoming you at Hall 3 – Stand F007.
