Thermocouples
YES, based on the color of the extension wires and of the sheathing, according to the INTERNATIONAL COLOUR CODES FOR THERMOCOUPLES (IEC 584-3) table shown at the side. See International colour codes of Extension and Compensating Cables for Thermocouples.

Potentiometer: type of output
A potentiometer is simply a variable voltage divider. Therefore, by applying voltage V at its terminals, you get a voltage variation ranging from 0 to V on the cursor. For more information see potentiometers user manual.

Connect the Power GND of an MK1/IK1 transducer to ground
Yes. The Power GND of the transducer can be grounded. Electromagnetic compatibility tests were passed with Power GND grounded and isolated from ground. You have to make the connection with a "clean" ground.
