Profile

Microprocessor controller, format 48x48 (1/16 DIN) manufactured using SMT.
Provides a complete operator interface protected by a Lexan membrane that ensures level IP65 faceplate protection.
It has 4 keys, two green LED displays, each with 4 digits, 4 red signal LED's for the 4 logic or relay outputs, and 3 other programmable LED's to signal the various operational states of the instrument.
The main input for process variable is universal, and many types of signals can be connected: thermocouples, resistance thermometers, thermistors, normalized linear inputs, all with possibility of custom linearization using the faceplate keys.
The type of input is selected from the faceplate keys; no external shunts are required.
A second auxiliary analog input from the current transformer is also available.
With the isolated digital input you can select: one of the two presettable setpoints, select Manual-Automatic mode, reset the alarms memory, or enable the hold function.
The instrument can have up to 4 outputs: relay (3A, 250V) or logic (12Vdc, 20mA).
An analog output in voltage or current is also available.
The function of each output is freely configurable from the faceplate keys.
In addition to control and alarm outputs, you can have outputs that repeat the state of the digital or retransmission input by process variable, setpoint, drift, alarm limits and values acquired from serial line.
Another isolated output (at 10 or 24Vdc, 30mA max.) is available to power external transmitters.
The serial communication option (available in RS485 standard) allows connection to supervision systems and PLCs with two protocols: GEFRAN CENCAL and MODBUS RTU.
Instrument programming is facilitated by grouping parameters in functional blocks (CFG for control parameters, Inp for inputs, Out for outputs, etc.).
The instrument can also select display parameters based on hardware configuration, automatically masking irrelevant parameters.
The instrument is supplied with an "EASY" configuration with just a few parameters (only those for the model ordered and essential for controller operation).
In this way, you just have to set the setpoint and alarm, and launch selftuning from the button. The 600 does all the rest.
A PC programming kit is available for even simpler configuration, composed of a cable and a guided program for Windows environment (see data sheet code 80020).

COMPACTNESS

GFX4 represents an innovative and exclusive solution for temperature control of the sealing bars used extensively on packaging machines for package sealing.

A single compact device, arranged for DIN rail mounting, includes fast and precise temperature control functions, as well as solid state relay and heatsink, integrated current transformer for load control, extrafast fuse and fuseholder, all multipled by four independent and programmable channels.

Savings in terms of space and wiring are absolutely guaranteed.

Connectivity of the GFX4 with the machine controller or directly with the operator panel is made easier by the available of Modbus RTU, CANopen, Profibus DP, DeviceNet, Modbus TCP.

SPEED

The new "2400" fast indicator/interceptor, (sampling time just 2 msec) can manage independent multiple weighing processes.

The two high resolution (100,000 points) universal inputs directly accept connection with load cells (typically, Gefran OD models).

The four available outputs can be freely set to reference channel 1 or channel 2.

A Modbus RTU communication line with baudrate programmable up to 115200 bps conveys weighing information directly to the control system, where it is possible to introduce the individual weighing setpoints and other operational parameters

PRECISION AND STURDINESS

In vertical packaging machines, as in horizontal wrapping machines, position transducers are often used to appropriately position the sealing bar, or to measure the dimensions of the different objects to be packaged.

For these applications, the model PZ potentiometric displacement transducers, with double self-aligning joints at each end, are perfect.
Or you may choose the model PC for applications requiring greater sturdiness and IP protection (up to IP67).

SieiDrive ADV200 and XVy-EV are two drives families designed to control synchronous or asynchronous motors.
The SieiDrive ADV200 inverter can be used with asynchronous motors controlling the Extruders and pump in the Hydraulic machines.

Chemical-Pharmaceutical

The Feeder Roll is equipped with QL and HQL asynchronous motors (IP54 version) or HQLa asynchronous motors (IP23S version) complete with incremental encoder.
In highly dynamic applications, the Feeder Roll may be equipped with an SBM brushless motor and XVy-EV servo drive.
The motor is powered by an XVyA-EV servo drive that receives the encoder on the metric wheel as well as the motor encoder.
The Feeder control system is fully integrated in the drive
The drive is connected to the machine PLC via CANbus, GDnet, DeviceNet or Modbus.

BLADE FLYWHEEL MOTOR

CARRIAGE MOTOR

The Carriage is equipped with QL and HQL asynchronous motors (IP54 version) or HQLa asynchronous motors (IP23S version) complete with incremental encoder.
The motor is powered by an XVyA-EV servo drive that receives the encoder on the metric wheel as well as the motor encoder.
In highly dynamic applications, the carriage may be equipped with an SBM brushless motor and XVy-EV servo drive.
The Flying Shear control system is fully integrated in the drive.
