Gefran's new sales office in Taiwan: Gefran continues to gain market share in Asia
05-07-2011
Gefran, a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial process control devices, opens a new sales office in Taiwan. This operation is part of the company’s plans to extend its business to the industrial areas of developing markets that, in recent years, have seen a highly significant growth.
Taiwan is a strategic choice thanks to the country’s business development opportunities and also in view of the fact that the influential World Economic Forum ranks its economy among the top twenty in the world. Thanks to the close presence of other Gefran branches in Asia (China, Singapore and India), the new branch will be able to benefit from the support and experience gained so far and immediately exploit this know-how in the field.
The realisation of how fast Taiwan is growing has also made this prompt response to the market’s requirements one of Gefran’s main objectives. The opportunity to propose sensors, components for automation and drives to the local market by offering direct sales support, represents added value able to transform simple business proposals into real business.
By opening a sales office in Taiwan, Gefran will expand its presence in international markets. The company’s internationalisation did in fact begin almost 30 years ago with the opening of its first international office in Germany. Thanks to a number of acquisitions and investments, today Gefran has twelve sales offices (Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Spain, United States, Brazil, China, Singapore, Taiwan, India) including four production plants. The company also has three production plants in Italy, where its head office is located.
