Gefran presents its new GF_Looper universal multiloop controller: easy, fast, and versatile
Gefran launches the new release of its GF_LOOPER (abbreviation of Gefran Multiloop Controller) with even higher performance and a new look.
GF_LOOPER is a multizone controller for 4, 8, 12, or 16 separate control loops. Its ease and immediacy of use, plus rapid programming of the user interface, make it the simplest and most intuitive product on the market.
GF_LOOPER’s main applications include plastic extruders, temperature control of hot runner units for injection, multizone tunnel furnaces for ceramics, bricks, food drying, or semiconductors.
3.5” and 5.7” colour touch screen panels provide an immediate and intuitive graphic interface for access to all machine control and configuration data.
The instrument is completely configurable on-screen, without the support of external PC development environments. A simple click is all it takes to select which and how many channels to control, allowing the GF_LOOPER to be scaled to the needs of each user. Typical multichannel functions such as SP/SP2 selection or synchronised increase/decrease of all SPs guarantee immediate management of the control process.
The new interface based on icons and symbols improves the visibility of process information and simplifies configuration procedures. A series of pages, organised at different levels of detail, provide a clear and intuitive interface for all user operations.
Functions such as recipe management simplify repetitive operations such as production change or machine set-up. A USB port lets you transfer identical production configurations to different machines, preventing configuration errors.
Variables display on trend pages and a data archive in Datalogging form, with export to file in .CSV format, provide production data reports typical of paperless recorders.
