600-xxxx-0/1 Temperature Controller

On the 600-xxxx-0/1 temperature controller, I see only the variable, the set.point, and AL1. Why?

Because you're working in EASY CONFIGURATION. To extend the functions, add + 128 to the value set in software protection.
Indicator 4/40T series

Can the indicator 4/40T supply an MK1/MK3 linear transducer ?

NO, because the MK1/MK3 models need 100/70mA , while the maximum courrent supplied by 4/40T is 50mA/24V.

What is AUTO-TUNING and when is it used?

AUTO-TUNING is an automatic procedure that calculates the best control parameters. The instrument runs this procedure when the parameter s.tun is enabled and when the variable is near the setpoint. How to activate auto-tuning. Example Controller 1600P-1800P.

Can an analog output on a 600-X-X-C... be converted from 0-10V (STANDARD) to 4-20mA ?

The 4...20mA can be configured by jumper "S1" on the output "OUT 3" (see the user's manual) and setting +64/+65 on "rL.3" parameter in the "OUT" menu. S1 ON = 10V (closed by default) S1 OFF = 20mA (open)
