Version history of firmware (flashsoftware F-Vers. in KFMo5) and since KFM30#06 also of configurator software ================================================================================= ================================================================================= Including the version number M-Vers.xx of screen form program (mask program) KFM.EXE which has to be used for (only up to F-Vers.100.030.005). For F-Vers.100.030.006 and newer only E@syDrives can be used as Configurator. See describtion of new functions / parameters in the KFMhelp for the parameter- pages of the configurator. F-Vers.100.031.004 from 04.04.2005 (KFM31#04) - changed and new functions: -------------------------- - the possibility of automatic door reversing from closing to opening was not yet shown for input functions ^17, 18, 19 in the help file KFMhelp - New function within input function 16: if getting out of tolerance window during position OPEN is tried to be held position control will be left, and drive will try to rech endposition again. With starting position control again, during 1.25 seconds the minimum voltage will be increased to the value of "voltage". So posion can be reached more accurate with the higher torque while after that time the activated min. voltage of UF4 will cause lower heating. - Debugging: ---------- - in inputfunction 19: Switching off "enable" input was causing ouput function MR (motor run) permanently F-Vers.100.031.003 from 09.03.2005 (KFM31#03) - Konfigurator: ------------- New version of 1,2,0,2 file C:\programs\SIEI PC Tools\Shared\KfmDevice.dll will be over installed together with KFM31#03 on your PC: - now serial interfaces Com1...8 are useable (up to now Com1...4) - Display of Output 3 is only possible with it - changed and new functions: -------------------------- - New input function 19 (Doorfunction 4) - Output function "fault" is now additional ored with input ENABLE to get the possibility to drive a relais for a brake at output FAULT - New output function 03: fault / in even / in odd position - Output 3 is now shown in Diagnosis page - New in parameter list "trace values": Port3(bit6 = Output3) already up to now: Port0(bit7 = Output1, bit6 = Output2) - Output functions are working now also during Motortest of Diagnosis Page - Additional function of tolerance window (wpok): When starting to a position and already running the "crawl path to position", position will be activated when reaching the tolerance window. With it output function "in position" becomes activ and the destinated position is accepted as to be reached. - Debugging: ---------- - Stopping during Input function 16 and 18 status display on diagnosis page was showing by mistake "0-function". Now, "Doorfunction stop, always position control" is the right display. - In the newer hardware with 5 digital inputs dipswitch 1 and 2 are exchanged (Dip 1 is used only for Input funtion 18). Correction of documentation (e.g. KFMhelp.htm) - Input function 18 in automatic mode: Starting by In1 and In2 goes and keeps active, an prozessor reset and homing will occure. Switching power ON while In2 is aktive will start homming (closing) instead of no movement or opening. --> both faults are resolved now - Directly after Poweron analog mode for Positions Pos.1, 2, 5 and 6 were not correctly overwritten by the analog value if the desired analog input kept on constant level of about 50% for Pos.1 and 0% for Pos.2, 5 and 6. F-Vers.100.031.002 from 08.07.2003 (KFM31#02) - Konfigurator: ------------- Bugg since 30#05: After saving parameter Pos.0 into EEProm its RAM value is shown as 0. But value in EEProm is correct, like you can verify after RESET. Configurator writes the 0 by mistake to the RAM, after saving operation in EEPron. Reason are double used IPAs 2000 and 2002 for switching "User units" <--> "Hz, Pulses". Other incorrect dispays for Pos.0, but also for parameter T-ref (waiting time in Pos.0) may occur. - changed and new functions: -------------------------- - New parameters sofware switches S1 and S2 for modification of input functions (currently only relevant for input function 14 and 16) - changed function 14 "2 positions with safety function (#2)": With the parameter switches S1 and S2 autom. reversing caused by exceeding torque limit can be enabled. - changed function 16 "Door function 1 (e.g. vertical lift door)": With the parameter switch S1 autom. reversing from closing to opening caused by exceeding torque limit can be enabled. F-Vers.100.031.001 from 26.05.2003 (KFM31#01) - Konfigurator E@syDrives 1.2 with date 9.4.2003: ----------------------------------------------- Using version 1.2 with date 10.3.2003 the colours of parameter values did not change from red to black after command "Write all" or "Write all file values". - changed and new functions: -------------------------- - new analog positions, new area settings by Pos.11-18: Pos.1(a) --> Pos.11-12 (up to now Pos.3-4) Pos.2(a) --> Pos.13-14 (up to now Pos.5-6) Pos.5(a) --> Pos.15-16 (new!) Pos.6(a) --> Pos.17-18 (new!) So, now analog positions can be used without any restriction also for positions/distances via LINK (input functions 3-6)! - main mode for homing = start and Start/nrd Now homing can be also started by an input, which has to be selected by parameter "Printmark". - main mode for homing = cycl. When using "positions/distances via LINK" up to now in that mode homing was started after completing an LINK. Now homing will be only started during transition from LINK 2 to LINK 1. - Helptext for Motortest - Help menues now also for teminal / DIP-switch / LEDs for using older and newe hardware with 5 digital inputs. - Debugging: ---------- - Mistake in 31#00: parameters of Pos.11-18 had been overwriten by alarm history buffer. Now there can be shown only 64 instead of 168 alarm lines. - In parameter "Printmark" (Signal mode for printmark) it was not possible to select every point. O.k. were only input1, input2 and input3. The selection was limited by a mistake in parameter file: Line no.193: PAR 1014.., on penultimate position "3" is now changed to "14". - Input 5 (Enable) is now also effective during Motortest. - After sorting the parameters in Menue selection "KFM31#00 All Parameters" (clicking "IPA", "Name" or "Type") maybe Motortest on Diagnosis Page was not working any more. Reason in parameterfile: every IPA should only be present one time in the parameterlist. F-Vers.100.031.000 from 02.04.2003 (KFM31#00) - Konfigurator E@syDrives 1.2 with date 10.3.2003: ------------------------------------------------ Working with parameter lists and HTML-pages is now more similar to each other. Now on pages the configurator is not working any more automatically in "On-line-mode". Changes in RAM of drive or, on the other side, changes of parameters held on PC, have to be done by write or read commands. Switching to On-line-mode is still possible, but is default OFF after starting the configurator or after disconnecting and connecting the drive. Down compatibility of E@syDrives 1.2 to configurator versions 30#11 and elder is assured. In that case, behaviour of E@syDrives is like its version 1.00.9 from 19.6.2002. - new functions: -------------- - New inputs Enable and Input 4. For using Hardware with 3 digital inputs, note the help topic on Version page. - New function "MOTORTEST" on Diagnosis page for easy setup motor. - New input function no. 14: For door handling of NC machining centres - New input functions no. 12 and 13: Functions for positioning using input 4 - Seperate Signal mode for printmark, now seperate from signal mode for homing. - changed functions: ------------------ - No.18 doorfunction for cold storage depot: To close door after opening, open position has only to be reached for just a moment. - changed positioning functions no. 1, 2, 9, 10, 11 : double amount of positions by using input 4 - Parameter "tolerance window" to output function "in position" is now adjustable within 0-65535 pulses (before 0-255). Like positions, it can be scaled. F-Vers.100.030.011 vom 30.09.2002 (KFM30#11) - changed function no. 16, 17 and 18 (Door functions): ---------------------------------------------------- Near position CLOSE (up to Pos.4) drive runs with an extra VF-characteristic: CLOSING with VF-ref and OPENING with "VF to Pos.4". So higher torques for locking / unlocking the can be provided and the risk of overheating the motor can be minimized. - Debugging input function 18 --------------------------- After POWER ON VF-characteristic 3 was acting in spite of no movement of the motor so that motor could be overheated. F-Vers.100.030.010 from 05.09.2002 (KFM30#10) - new function: ------------- Output function 99: Output 2 offers a digital output of analog input 1 including hysteresis (switching points 59 and 39% of max. analog input level) F-Vers.100.030.009 from 15.07.2002 (KFM30#09) - Debugging --------- Previous bug with relative positioning to a printmark in combination with cutting the 230 VAC (motortype: ... external 24 VDC). When cutting the line power after position to printmark has been finished, the distance of a new relativ positioning is too short. The value of position error is equal to the crawl path waiting for printmark at the end of the last positioning. With input function no. 6 a start signal during line power off was memorized and after power on a new, but wrong positioning was performed immediately. New hints in the configurator / help topics / troubleshooting! F-Vers.100.030.008 from 05.06.2002 (KFM30#08) - Changed function no. 18 ------------------------ Input function No.18: Door function 3 (e.g. cold-storage-depot). The function for input 2 is reduced to "reversing door", because using as input e.g. for the light curtain. The door cannot opened by In2 when itīs state is "completely opened" or "stopped". - Konfigurator E@syDrives 1.00.9 with date 19.6.2002: --------------------------------------------------- The deafault path for "Open.." and "Save as ..." shows always to the directory of the last opened, language-dependent parameter file. That applies too, even the parameter file was opened by link out of the 2nd startpage of E@syDrives. The communication settings of the new "Device Link Managers" are saved in the parameter file under "Options / COMMCONF". By that the setting of protocoll and its properties are automatic o.k. and set to COM1 if you choose a new installed parameterfile. According help texts are revised and there are new help texts for taking over parameter sets or upgrading older parameter files. F-Vers.100.030.007 from 02.05.2002 (KFM30#07) - Configurator: ------------- Configurator E@syDrives 1.00.8 can be now switched to German language. Same with all HTMP-pages of configurator. The help page is updated and you can open a browser window to the topic KFM05 applications. F-Vers.100.030.007 from 28.02.2002 (KFM30#07) - Configurator: ------------- Saving the parameterset from a just opened parameterfile into EEProm of KFM05 (target) may be faulty. Debugging by new file Kfm.vbs. If necessary it is recommended to update the versions KFM30#05 and KFM30#06 with corresponding Setup from your newest CD. - New function: ------------- Input function No.18: Door function 3 (e.g. cold-storage-depot). Same like door function 1 also with the teachin modi, but with the inputs Open/Close (edge sensitive), Open and Close. The started door functions are continuing until the next input command. With dipswitch Dip4 you can switch to automatic mode. In automatic mode you need not to change the input configuration or terminal assignment. Closing will be done automatic after the finished open or stop time. F-Vers.100.030.006 from 17.01.2002 (KFM30#06) - Configurator: ------------- Problem of communication with laptop "Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 / Windows 2000 Pro" solved by new file KFM.vbs, modification in the Version page and new Slink.dll (installation of E@syDrives). New Help Topic "Troubleshooting" on Version page. - New function: ------------- Input function No.16: Door function 1 (e.g. vertical lift door) - New function: ------------- Input function No.17: Door function 2 (e.g. cold-storage-depot) - New function: ------------- PC-teachin for Door functions (input functions 16, 17 and 18). This function is integrated in "Diagnosis page" of configurator and allows learning of "direction of rotation for pos. frequencies" and OPEN position. - New function / parameter: ------------------------- Deceleration "decstp" for reversing door from close to open or as deceleration for stop when changing from position mode to frequency controle mode. - New function / parameter: ------------------------- In the area Levelmode / Analog1 on 2nd parameter page there is the new Parameter "parameter pointer on analog 1" with its values "no special", "T1: 0-300" and "T1: 6-18". With it parameter timer T1 can be adjusted online via input Analog 1 in the range 0-300 or 6-18 s. - Eliminated error, which may occur "over current cutoff" when using position teachin with input function 8 or standard teachin. F-Vers.100.030.005 from 10.10.2001, M-Vers.030.01 (KFM30#05) - New function: ------------- Up to now parameters Pos.min (Pos.9) and Pos.max (Pos.10) had only been used as limitation in KFM.EXE for ajusting Pos.1 to Pos.8. Now they are acting also as limitation during "standard teachin via analog 2". - Since F-Vers.100.029.002 teachin was not working correct: Always only the first time after power on the learned value was realy written into EEProm. F-Vers.100.030.004 from 16.07.2001, M-Vers.030.01 - There was a mistake in combination "relative positioning to print-mark control" with with the new function of external 24V-power. After interrupting such a relative positioning by 220V-power OFF, direction of movement may be wrong after preceeding movement by power ON. - In combination input functions "positions via In1/2" with using Input 1 or 2 as reference sensor, it may occur, that the selected position was not headed after reference moving. F-Vers.100.030.003 from 25.06.2001, M-Vers.030.01 - By using externel 24V-power (parameter "type of motor": ..., !external 24V power!) following mistakes, which are now eleminated, could happen: a) After mains (230 VAC) off (red LED is blinking) and mains on again, red LED is burning constantly, but all other functions were o.k. b) While doing like a), overcurrent cut off might occur. F-Vers.100.030.002 from 19.04.2001, M-Vers.030.01 - For positioning relative distances the reference point was considered wrong. So if value Pos.0 was not 0, the relative distances with input function 5, 6 or 10 could be not correct. - There was still a mistake using input function 3, 4, 5, 6 or 10 like discribed in F-Vers. 29.2 from 16.01.2001. By handling parametersets the value of position number (pos_nr) could be intialized to values different from 0. F-Vers.100.030.001 from 04.04.2001, M-Vers.030.01 - New function: ------------- Avoiding a new reference moving after power failure. Requirement is a drive with an extra 24V input to supply the microprocessor electronic even when the main AC-power is off. The new function is activated by parameter "type of motor" selected to any type with "!external 24V power!". In the case of activated new function and 230 VAC-power failure motor is becoming torqueless and any movement is just interrupted. The output function "fault" becomes active and error state in "form 01: diagnosis" is shown as "Cut off e5, driver voltage". There will be no programming on the fault stack in the EEProm. When VAC-power returns, output function "fault" and error state are reset. Interrupted movements will continue by following acceleration ramps, even if motor was still moving. Such an power failure will cause also interrupting the waiting times T1 or T2 by using "positions via link". F-Vers.100.029.002 from 16.01.2001, M-Vers.029.01 - With input function 3, 4, 5, or 6 drive positioned immediately after power on or after reference moving in one of the positions 1 to 8, even if the last parameter in line "mode reference motion" is requiring such a behaviour. Mistake repaired! - In rare exception situations, e.g. if the program run time of main program routine becomes too large, positioning could be wrong. Mistake repaired! !!! Attention, new download handling of firmware!!! --------------------------------------------------- This or newer versions can only be loaded with the new download program KFM_LOAD for Windows 95 or higher. Also elder F-Versions can be downlowded with it by switchint to "old" loading procedure. KFM_LOAD also allows reading-out of the first program lines written in plain text of the boot sector and of the (work) program sector in the flash of KFM05. That is working also in the case of elder program versions in the motor. Deleting an older program version was done by using SDD programm commands "set delprg 1" and "set delprg 2" and/or function keys F1 and F2. Now the program sectors in the flash are no more deleted by that commands, but only the running program in the drive is branching into the boot sector . The now also required new program in the boot sector of drive is shown its activity by flashing sequence long-short-long of the red LED. F-Vers.100.029.001 from 13.10.2000, M-Vers.029.01 - New function: ------------- Input function No.11= 8 positions via In1/2/3 if analog 1 - combination input function No.10 with print-mark control is now working - with standard teachin 0-function invoked by fixed frequency f3=0 is possible (so it is possible to get the motor torqueless for manual adjusting the position) - The display "state of control" in kfm.exe is now realised by sending only the word "modanz" to PC. F-Vers.100.028.001 from 19.07.2000, M-Vers.028.01 - New functions: ------------- 1. Input function 08: 2 positions via In1/2 + teachin via In3 2. Input function 09: 8 positions via In1/2/3 3. Input function 10: 8 rel. distances via In1/2/3 and analog1 4. Function "standard teachin via Analog 2" F-Vers.100.027.001 from 4.07.2000, M-Vers.027.01 - New function: ------------- adjustable working spaces for the analog inputs. When using the analog inputs as digital inputs, the thresholds are 39 and 59% (hysteresis) of hardware input level area (5V, 10V or 20mA). These hardware input levels are fixed by solder bridges in the hardware of KFM05. Exception: Using analog2 to invoke "standard teachin". In that mode, the analog input function can also be used to vary the teachin speed. When using the analog inputs to vary speeds or positions, the linear workspace can be adjusted in the according parameter windows "level mode" in form 03. - fixed jog frequencies f2 and f3 did not work in Vers.26. Now o.k. F-Vers.100.026.001 from 16.05.2000, M-Vers.026.01 - New functions: -------------- 1. analog speeds (V3, V4) for position modes. Also the same handling in frqency control mode (f1, f2, f3). 2. Input function 07: 2 positions with safety function 3. Input functions "Permanente positioning" without using In3. - all speeds/frequencies are using now separately addresses F-Vers.18 from 12.05.2000, M-Vers.25 F-Vers.17 from 04.04.2000, M-Vers.24 - New function: ------------- output functions Additional to the previous functions of the outputs, now there is also the possibility to indicate with output 1 the 'in position' status of Pos.1, 3, 5 or 7 and with output 2 Pos.2, 4, 6 or 8. Indication of "fault cut-off" will be done by active level of both outputs. See description in the screen form 03. ================================================================================= ================================================================================= 4. Version history of screenform-program (mask program) M-Vers. ================================================================================= ================================================================================= Notes to changes or new features in screenform-program (mask program), the DOS configurator for KFM05. M-Vers.030.01 from 04.04.2001 - Now RS232 communication is also fit for the slowly DOS-emulation under Windows 2000. - New parameter "!external 24V power!" as new types of motor. M-Vers.029.01 from 13.10.2000 - parameter files demxxx_y.par are revised now, so that parameter "standard teachin" is regarded - new input function No.11 - new procedure for display "state of control" and additional some new information M-Vers.028.01 from 19.07.2000 - input functions No. 8, 9 and 10 - new parameter window "standard teachin" M-Vers.027.01 from 4.07.2000 - after invoking a parameter window of a parameter which has to be adjusted by (e.g. input function), the already selected value will be shown immediately. - now the right logic level for out1 and out2 will be shown by using the oscilloscope function M-Vers.026.01 from 26.05.2000 M-Vers.25 from 11.05.2000
